Quinta dos Muros Red 2024 pays homage to the essence of the Douro and the family heritage of the Mansilha family, who have cultivated the steep slopes of the Pinhão River valley, between 230 and 550 meters above sea level, for generations. This is where the terroir expresses itself in all its diversity—schist soils, marked temperature ranges, and meticulous viticulture that emphasizes elegance and balance.

The 2024 vintage combines 55% Tinta Roriz, which provides structure and verticality, 28% Touriga Nacional, which brings perfume and delicacy, and 17% old vines, which add depth and complexity to the blend. The wine aged for five months in new French oak barrels, where it acquired texture, harmony, and a refined aromatic profile.

In the glass, it displays a ruby color with violet reflections. The aroma is complex and dense, with intense notes of blueberry and blackcurrant fruits, wild blackberries, white spices, Mediterranean woodland, and elegant nuances of vanilla and toast from its wood aging.

On the palate, it reveals a beautifully balanced, succulent structure and firm body, supported by fine tannins reminiscent of cashmere. The concentration is remarkable, with an impressive gravity and a long, precise, and persistent finish, as described by the winemaker.

A red wine that combines freshness, finesse, and authenticity—ideal with roasted meats, lamb, light game, medium-aged cheeses, or simply enjoyed alone, in a moment of contemplation.
