The Ingrediente Mourisco Lentrisca is born in Alvados, a small, enchanting valley in the heart of the Serra de Aire and Candeeiros mountains, where time seems suspended and each olive tree tells a story.
Between white stone walls and limestone fields, traditional olive groves of a rare and precious variety persist—Lentrisca, one of the nearly forgotten jewels of Portugal's olive heritage.
Harvested early, when the fruit is still green, Lentrisca produces an oil with a green, intense, and deeply aromatic profile, with notes of cut grass, olive leaves, pine, and dried fruits.
On the palate, it is balanced and vigorous, with a pronounced bitterness and spiciness, a natural result of the high concentration of polyphenols—antioxidant compounds responsible for its health benefits and remarkable stability.
