Monterosa Verdeal Olive Oil

Monterosa is a producer of olive oil in the eastern Algarve. Monterosa Extra Virgin Olive Oil comes from the 20 hectares of olive groves in Moncarapacho.
The olives are picked by hand and immediately transported to the mill, where they are ground with granite grinding wheels, in a mechanical process that dates back to Roman times. The oil is extracted, filtered, stored in stainless steel vats and bottled, using the most modern technology.

It goes well with salads, tomatoes, bread, cold soups and sauces.
