From a centennary groove rise the In Memoriam “Olival do Pomar” by Casa de Santo Amaro.
Olival do Pomar, a centenary groove with 1.50 ha and around 400 olive trees planted by the great-great-grandfather of the current owners (Francisco and António Pavão), where more than 15 indigenous cultivars of the region coexist, including Verdeal Transmontana, Madural, Redondal, Lentisca, Galega and others yet to be identified gave rise to In Memoriam by Casa de Santo Amaro. Olival do Pomar is still conducted in organic production mode.
In Memoriam by Casa de Santo Amaro “Olival do Pomar”, presents a very strong profile that is the result of the Olival do Pomar terroir, combined with the different indigenous cultivars and combined with a very early harvest (October 27, 2023) .
