Olive Oil Monterosa Premium Cerro de São Miguel

Monterosa is a producer of Quinta olive oil in the eastern Algarve. Monterosa Extra Virgin Olive Oil comes from 15 hectares of olive groves in Moncarapacho.

The olives are harvested by hand and transported immediately to the mill, where they are ground with granite millstones, in a mechanical process that dates back to Roman times. The olive oil is extracted, filtered, stored in stainless steel tanks and bottled using the most modern technology.

Cerro de São Miguel olive oil is obtained from a blend of more intense olive varieties, harvested in September-October, resulting in a rich and complex olive oil.
